About fashion

Sorry, guys, no pics of kids today. We took the day off, and rested. I don't feel too guilty, though. We're in this for the long haul, and we have to pace ourselves!

Today our coordinator’s husband came, and so they went to their own apartment.  It feels like we have an empty nest!  Okay, well, I know it won’t feel like that for long.
We have to change apartments in a few days, so we went for a walk to find our new building, and it’s a few blocks away, on a much quieter street.  The neighborhood has a nice feel to it.  This is our next building.  I believe that the sign says “Coffee House.”

We've had so much fun watching all the fashionable people here.  I would say that the majority of the population appears to be female, and about age 20.  They really like their clothes, and their high heels.  Boots are a popular choice.  I've heard that some American men like to come here to find a bride.  Hmm... Well, pretty girls are a dime a dozen here!

We tried to be sneaky about taking pictures, but our camera is not very cooperative.  Finally, we just resorted to snapping pictures without even trying to be sneaky.  David said, "I don't think they'll mind.  They're out here to be seen!"  Sorry about the crummy quality of so many of the pictures.  Again, I blame the camera.  It takes a long time to finally take the shot, and by then everyone has moved and everything is different.

Like I said, I missed so many great shots, but not to worry! Every ten seconds or so, another group of beautiful people walked past.
