Plenty of socializing

Last night a bunch of us got together at the little pizza place nearby:  we have our coordinator staying with us, and my friend that I've been emailing all year (along with her husband,) a couple who just got their referral for their child, and another mom who has her child now, but is stuck here for a few days.  We had a good time, and the pizza was pretty decent.  The crust was good, tomato sauce as we're used to, instead of mayonnaise, but the cheese had something of a goat cheese taste.  It was good enough for David to order a second one.  Then most of the crowd walked the one mom home, since she lived the farthest away, and it was dark and raining.  David pushed the stroller up the looong hill, but the next morning, I'm the one who couldn't move my hips, they were so sore.  Anyway, it was really fun.
The waitress really couldn't speak english, but she took our picture and said, "Say cheese!"
Today we traveled to our orphanage, and showed our coordinator the route by metro and bus, since she had never taken it before, and the child she's adopting is there also.  We chatted for awhile with the australian university physical therapy instructor, and then visited with our kids.  Still no sign of our littlest girl, so I guess we'll get things moving on Monday.

Our little guy still looked tired today, but he was not so crabby.
"Here I am, yet again, with my ball..."

Guess where Mom was, to get a good shot like this?  Yeah, laying on the floor isn't smiled upon.
Had a pretty short visit with both of the kids today, so big girl got taken back sooner than she's used to, and oh, the heartbreaking sobs!  It gets me right in the heart.  It's the first time she's seemed really, really sad to leave us.  Soon, darling!
"This is the best spot in the world!"

Mom is getting more savvy, and caught her hands, and her rowdiness fizzled out.
On our walk home, we came across another family that we've met up with several times, so we all stood around in the square and chatted for awhile, and played with their new little boy.  Super cute!
